Namchi

Namchi

The name Namchi means ‘The Top of the sky’. Located at a height of about 1675m from sea level, it provides one of the most breathtaking views in the state. Apart from its sceneries, Namchi is known as a popular Buddhist pilgrimage destination. Temi Tea Estate, Ngadak Monastery are some of the other popular spots to visit here.

Ravangla has become a prominent name in the tourism industry since the establishment of the Buddha Statue and the Buddha Park. This has attracted several tourists across the country to this place and apart from these, you can witness mesmerizing mountain sceneries from here.

Temi Tea Garden

Temi Tea Garden is considered to be the only tea estate in Sikkim that produces Internation standard tea and the production is in high demand in the market. It is situated in the Tendong hills and spreads over a large area.

Jorethang

Jorethang

Jorethang is a popular town in Sikkim and you can find this town on the way to Pelling. The town is situated at one of the lower points in Sikkim at only 300m from sea level. Jorethang is primarily famous for its cultural festival Maghe Mala and is a great place for adventure activities.

Rumtek

Rumtek village in Sikkim is majorly famous for the Rumtek Monastery which is one of the largest monasteries in the country. Visitors can witness the routines of Buddhist monks by visiting this place. The monastery offers some exquisite Tibetan architecture inside and breathtaking mountain views outside.

Samdruptse

Samdruptse

This place has the tallest statue of Guru Padma Sambhava. It is around 135ft built above Namchi town. The view from above is something to cherish and from the hilltop, you can witness the views of Darjeeling, Namchi, Mount Kanchenjunga.
